A high resolution uStepper Driven tangentially controlled axis turns a Tungsten Carbide (Widia) cutter. The special C-axis motor has a hollow shaft with a push rod connected to a variable speed oscillating drive motor. The oscillating drive speed can be infinitely varied between 0 and 20000 cycles/min. to allow cutting of thick materials with a standard low-cost replacable blade.
